Excited to have matched at @VUMC_Cancer @VUMCHemOnc for heme/onc fellowship. Couldn’t have done it without my family, friends, and mentors including @Ramikomrokji@drsomedeb and fantastic residency fam at @USFIMres
On my last night admitting heme patients overnight @MoffittNews@USFIMres. Things I’ve learned:
1. Even though many of our patients have a heme primary disorder, we have to always keep a broad differential and keep the internal medicine at the forefront
Spending some of the holiday doing night admissions at @MoffittNews - hoping patients don’t need to be admitted and they get to enjoy time with their loved ones!
Ruminations on the differences in latte making at home vs. at #ASH22 as I get ready to go to work:
Pros: no lines
Cons: the amount of time I take weighing beans and the resultant output
To be determined: does a blob of foam count as latte art? Is my latte good?
#ASHTrainee
Pro trip: the 25 dollar shuttle to the airport from Hall G is clutch. Runs every 30 min, and can reserve early if needed. #ash22#ASHTrainee@ASH_hematology
Glad to be able to catch the Ernest Beutler Lecture on the complement system, pertaining to my research in aHUS with Dr. Damian Laber @MoffittResearch, before heading out! #ASH22#ASHtrainee
Great #ASHtrainee didactic session from @SoniSmithMD and @juliamaxson on giving a scientific presentation. Sad to be leaving #ASH22 today, met so many great people and learned so much.
Here it is! (Almost) all our @MoffittNews@USFHealth Heme/Onc fellows together. It’s been an excellent weekend of camaraderie, education, networking and relaxation. A wonderful job by everybody at @ASH_hematology in @CityOfNOLA. #ASH22
