a cop was killed the other day and everyone in power goes to say their condolences but cops shoot kids and no one gives a fuck because heaven forbid we are slightly critical of the police
“Even though we’re not really in recession Poilievre was GLEEFUL that we might be. He’s basically being Canada’s abusive boyfriend again telling us we’re old, fat and stupid and no one will love us so we might as well vote for him.”

Be honest… Is this appropriate for mowing the lawn in a family neighborhood?
A neighbor has been regularly mowing her front yard in just a sports bra and very short shorts. At first, people tried to ignore it. But after months, several residents (including parents) say it’s starting to feel uncomfortable. Kids play outside, families walk by, and it’s become a topic of conversation in the neighborhood group chat.
The person who finally contacted the HOA said: “I’m not trying to police anyone’s body, but front yards aren’t private spaces. There’s a line between personal freedom and basic consideration for the community — especially when children are around.”
Now the big question for all of you:
Where do you stand on this?
• Should people be allowed to wear whatever they want in their own yard, even if it’s very revealing?
• Or does living in a family neighborhood come with some responsibility to be mindful of what kids and neighbors see?
• Is contacting the HOA “being a Karen,” or is it reasonable when multiple people feel awkward?
Be brutally honest in the comments 👇
• Men: Would you feel comfortable if your wife or daughter did this?
• Women: Would you mow the lawn dressed like this in front of the whole neighborhood?
• Parents: How would you feel if your young kids were playing outside while this was happening?
Personal freedom vs community standards — where’s the line?

"I am Canadian, a free Canadian, free to speak without fear, free to worship God in my own way, free to stand for what I think right, free to oppose what I believe wrong, free to choose those who govern my country...”

We can boo USA if we want and we must.
Canada’s Somali community has made remarkable contributions to our country and continues to enrich every aspect of Canadian life.
From entrepreneurs creating jobs, to healthcare professionals caring for our families, to teachers, public servants, community leaders, athletes, artists, and small business owners, Somali Canadians have helped build stronger communities from coast to coast.
Their story is also a Canadian success story, one of hard work, resilience, family values, and a commitment to giving back.
We see that success in businesses founded and led by Somali Canadians, including Karma Food Co., known for its healthy food products, The Village Grocer Inc., which has become a well known grocery retailer, and numerous transportation, logistics, technology, real estate, and financial services businesses that contribute millions of dollars to the Canadian economy and create jobs in communities across the country.
We also see it in the achievements of prominent Somali Canadians such as Ahmed Hussen, who arrived in Canada as a refugee and went on to serve as a federal cabinet minister; Hodan Nalayeh, the celebrated journalist and storyteller who helped share the stories of Somalis around the world; Faisal Hassan, one of the first Somali Canadian Members of Provincial Parliament in Ontario; and Mustafa Farah, whose community leadership and advocacy have helped strengthen opportunities for young Canadians.
Canada is stronger because of the diversity, talent, and contributions of Somali Canadians. Today, we celebrate a community that continues to help shape the future of our country for the better.
Thank you for all that you do.
Yet another African migrant shows just how easy it is to exploit food banks here in Canada... and she put it all online last weekend.
Friday, she did a food bank haul.
Saturday, the very next day, she could suddenly afford dinner and drinks at a restaurant with her husband.
Why are @LenaMetlegeDiab and the IRCC prioritizing these leeches of Canadian resources? They are exploiting us right under our noses.🤨
Dear anti-EV crowd. I drove gas vehicles for 30 years. I attended car shows. I've modified engines and suspensions. I'm a Mustang Club of America-certified national car show judge. I still love classic muscle.
I also used to love making mixed tapes, visiting Blockbuster on Saturday nights, or shopping for new music at Sam Goody. I was a photographer and spent a lot of time and money on film and developing.
At the same time, I was one of the first to rip my music to MP3s, upgrade my internet connection to stream video, and own one of the first Sony digital cameras.
And here we are again on the cusp of change. EVs are here for the masses, and the market will drive the change because EVs are better all-around vehicles for most people. Gas vehicles will be obsolete in another decade or two.
Luckily for you, you don't have to change now. Nor should you be forced to. Gas vehicles will be around long enough to meet your needs or driving preferences until you are ready, and I'm thankful for that.
But you see, I don't need your battery-fire warnings, comments about pumping gas in 5 minutes, or selective outrage about rare-earth mineral mining posted from your mobile phone.
The ICE age is drawing to a close. Legacy auto and dealerships are on borrowed time. The automotive industry is ripe for massive disruption, and many people don't see it coming. But it's coming; you can’t stop it.

"Canadians" tossing garbage straight into the ditch again.
Guy had to block the road and supervise them cleaning it up.
This is becoming way too common.
This is going to be a game changer for small independent grocers and food processors.
$1 billion in infrastructure.
$750 million earmarked for year round greenhouse production.
Conservatives and retail giants are going to hate this.
I’m loving it.

-went to the US, didn’t join a meeting
-no trade deals signed
-no new business for Ontario
-wasted likely 20-50k in tax dollars
This is called being a failed businessman.

I don’t think the average person realizes we owe our jobs and a shockingly robust economy to Mark Carney. He’s a legend. And all this in SPITE of Trump’s attacks. We haven’t stumbled and I’m deeply immensely grateful to that man.
