I'm defending my PhD thesis, "The recolonization of Eurasian lynx from central to southern Sweden: A success story" on Thursday, November 23rd at 13:00 in Loftets Hörsal, SLU campus, Uppsala, Sweden.
Feel free to stop by 😁
I'm back on the research wagon after two stints of parental leave punctuated by long covid! I'm so glad to be back!
Let's see how the lynx population is doing shall we? 😁
@ProfEmilyOster just in case you're not aware, the accompanying PDF to The Family Firm is not available on Audible for many if not all listeners. It's mentioned in several reviews. It's a shame - I listened to the entire book today and was looking forward to the worksheets!
Several month follow up on my Covid thread: It didn't end when my tweets did. For months, I slept 3-4 extra hrs every day, still had brain fog to the point of barely being functional, and had a sporadic cough. Now that's gone and I finally feel much like myself again. #LongCovid
In this series of tweets, I'll describe my Covid-19 symptoms in case anyone is interested. I don't know how typical this progression is or what any individual symptom means. I'm just sharing my experience. (1/?) #ihavecovid19#COVID19
Day 27 Update: Covid still has me. Sore throat is back with a vengeance. Still coughing to clear my lungs. Still fatigued. I haven't done any baking, shopping, or decorating, and I don't think I'll be up for any of it before Christmas. #IhaveCoronavirus#LongCovid
