It's simple. These plants aren't breaking any laws, so why are good people still getting their lives messed up over them? It's past time we cleared the records, built fair opportunities, and let common sense grow. Let's stop criminalizing nature and start supporting our communities. #CannabisReform #DescheduleCannabis #RepealCannabis
@jamiecampbell@TheDankInformer From an educational perspective, I see lot's of fun ways to accomplish the goal of eliminating the foundation of fraud that has brought us all here today.
@jamiecampbell@TheDankInformer There is history to all of this in my experience since co-authoring the first successful legislation in Colorado in 2012 and 2013. There is also a big BUT...
Seeing folks fighting to get cannabis descheduled in the Farm Bill reminds me how much is at stake. It's about getting the scales balanced for everyone who's ever tended this plant, from legacy growers to new farmers. Let's make sure federal policy nurtures, not restricts, our communities. It's time to set things right. #CannabisJustice @spotmerusty@clear_right_jp
Some things just hit different, you know? When you see all the good the plant brings, and then remember the heavy shadow of injustice still hanging over folks. It's a real dissonant chord. We gotta tear down those old walls, let the light in. The plant deserves freedom, and so do the people. #CannabisFreedom @landracebureau@dc00412
It's plain to see some in Washington are missing the big picture, or maybe they just didn't get the memo from Mother Nature. Plants create THCa naturally, it's not psychoactive until heated. Our laws should reflect reality and protect small growers and businesses, not punish them for what a plant naturally produces. Common sense needs to grow in Congress. #CannabisReform @std8074@landracebureau
There's no good reason for Washington to ban something that just grows out of the ground. We should be focused on building real opportunities, not tearing them down with outdated rules. Fair policies would mean more local jobs and stronger communities. Let's keep it simple. #FairCannabisLaws @420_moment@bjor1971
I am getting this back up after all the attempts to take us down.
This is a picture of my first hemp field in Colorado from over 10 years ago in 2014.
I supplied the expertise, knowledge, and seeds.
