Red Bloody Afghan original smells like rotten meat

The leaf goes almost black red under full sun on bare rock. Anthocyanin locked through the fan and into the sugar leaf, not just a cold-night blush. Structure stays upright and resinous while everything around it is dry grass and stone.

This is the expression you get when the pigment is fixed in the genetic line instead of being a stress response. Same plants can run dark year around with out high uv exposure or cold nights.

Where have you actually seen a landrace hold this level of red/black-purple ?

These large cakes come out of the Pakistani/Afghan highlands, where the resin is made by hand and left to cure. The break is how you tell the grade: soft centers still give under the edge, dry outer layers snap clean and leave the fine dust on the cloth. Same motion from the Parvati side to the Afghan passes — one tool, silk sheets, density decides.

Honey Banana is a real dessert cultivar. Elemental Seeds built it as Honey Boo Boo (Bubba Kush × Captain Krypt OG) × Strawberry Banana. The profile people chase is overripe banana, brown sugar, and bubblegum, with a clear-headed, heavy-lidded finish.

Full-melt single-grade washes are usually isolated at 73–120μ or 90–120μ. That is a bulk blend, not a heady first-pull.

It’s addicting watch the surface bubble. No dark residue collecting at the edge. It liquefies, then the film thins and clears.

This is the behavior you get when the starting material was mostly intact trichome heads and the cold cure was long enough for the lightest fractions to settle and the rest to bind. Shorter cures stay greasier and more opaque under the same heat. Longer ones can go almost glassy before they release.

Most full-melt claims are just “it bubbles.” The real tell is whether it leaves a clean film or starts depositing.

How long are you actually cold-curing your solventless before you call the melt finished, and does the surface change the way you smoke it? this is 4+ months cure and its already really dry - this is not top quality.

Frozen Gelato, Grape Citrus, Soda — 75-150µ cuts.The surface has that dry, almost crystalline separation that only shows after the lightest terps settle and the heads finish binding.
