It is a common complaint of spiritual people: “The SatGuru is giving contradictory Adesh, or He Himself is behaving in contradictory ways.”
The problem is that people love to get stuck in the past so much that one cannot see the present moment at all. One must keep the SatGuru’s every Adesh constantly in mind to work on it, but that does not mean to become blind to the present moment. The needs of the present may require a new learning to emerge from the same grace of the Adesh. The SatGuru’s one guidance can bring one to newer and greater heights of spirituality continuously. One adesh given years ago is still just as fresh today as it was then. One divine experience with Him decades ago is just as complete with grace today as it was then. But only if one keeps working on it diligently and happily within the present moment.
After when one has truly done that, when the time is right, the SatGuru will also pull the rope in the opposite direction so that one can be firmly anchored on the spiritual path. And here, instead of seeing His great mercy, people complain and hold onto the past. He is pulling the string of the bow. The more firmly the string is anchored to both sides of the bow and the harder the string is pulled in the opposite direction ,the faster and more precisely the arrow can fly towards the goal. “The mind is the string. The atma is the arrow. The SatGuru is the expert Archer.”When the mind is kept neutral, filled with love, serving in every moment, then it can handle being pulled in any direction without breaking. The atma is full of potential waiting to launch itself towards the Ultimate Goal; it keeps preparing itself for the Archer to place His hands of blessing on its head. The SatGuru is guiding the string of the mind to be completely relaxed and flexible as well as stronger than the toughest diamond. “The lotus feet of the SatGuru are two sides of the bow the seeming ‘contradiction’. “When the mind wraps itself around any Adesh of the SatGuru with ease, instant action, gratitude, and humility, then the mind is strung onto one side of the bow perfectly. But the other side, the opposite side, also needs to be roped in for the mind to be completely anchored to the SatGuru’s lotus feet. This way the SatGuru gives the seemingly ‘contradictory’ Adesh or behavior. But there are two sides of the same coin. Perfectly logical and aligned to the Highest. “The SatGuru’s eternal heart is Vaikuntha.”The Ultimate Goal where the SatGuru points the bow is His own infinite love. When He sees that the atma is ready to fly towards that innermost space of Vaikuntha, He does everything to send the atma straight into the bull’s eye, His own heart.|| Tasmai Shri Gurave Namah ||
The SatGuru bestows upon the bhakta the vision of both Saguna Brahman and the realization of Nirguna Brahman the Divine with form and the Divine beyond form. Saguna is Bhagavān as He can be loved, worshipped, contemplated, and experienced; Nirguna is that same Supreme Reality beyond name, form, qualities, and concepts. The SatGuru reveals that these are not two separate truths, but two dimensions of the same Reality. He gives this grace without expectation, opening a possibility of realization that was once considered exceedingly rare. Yet the greatest obstacle is often not the absence of grace, but the inability to recognize it. The mind is easily pulled back into distraction, desire, boredom, laziness, and the endless concerns of ordinary life. One can stand before something sacred and, through familiarity, fail to perceive its magnitude. This is why there is such urgency in the spiritual path ,not because the SatGuru demands anything, but because human attention is precious and life continually moves forward. The SatGuru waits with immense love and hope for the moment when the bhakta’s longing becomes simple and wholehearted: not for another temporary experience, achievement, or possession, but for the Eternal itself ,for SriHari love and for Truth. Purnatva, or fullness, points to a Reality in which nothing is lacking. The SatGuru is not merely imparting spiritual knowledge; He is opening the possibility of moving beyond concepts into direct realization. This is reflected in Shoonya Avastha. Shoonya means emptiness or zero, but in its deeper sense it is not mere nothingness. When every limitation and identification falls away, what remains is limitless potential, emptiness that contains the possibility of everything. Such a state cannot be fully captured by thought; it must be experienced. Yet even here, the bhakta remains free. The SatGuru does not force realization upon anyone. This is the deeper meaning of Tathastu, “so be it.” Each being is allowed to move through the experiences they choose, whether they turn toward the temporary or toward the Eternal. The SatGuru’s love remains present regardless. Thus, the teaching is not about rejecting the world, but about recognizing what is ultimately real within and beyond it. One may fulfil every worldly responsibility while inwardly turning toward the Divine. The essential transformation occurs when the heart stops asking, “What can I receive?” and begins to ask, “What is True? What is Eternal? How can I know That?” The gate is open, the grace is freely given, and the SatGuru waits without coercion. Each being will eventually turn toward that Truth, whether in this life or after countless lifetimes. But when such an opportunity is already before us, the deepest wisdom is simply to recognize it and not allow the mind to overlook what the heart has been seeking all along.
We understand prayer as a humble request to the Lord for His mercy and protection. We know that we are not perfect and that we have many weaknesses, mistakes, attachments, and things within us that need to be purified. Therefore, we ask the Lord to keep us among sincere devotees who truly love Him, because being in their company can help us become more humble, sincere, and closer to God.When we say that we are like a stone sinking in water, we acknowledge that we cannot cross the difficulties of life by our own strength. Just as a stone cannot save itself from sinking, we cannot overcome our ego, mistakes, and weaknesses without the Grace of the SadGuru. We ask Him to lift us up, carry us, and take us safely across. We understand the impurities from countless lives as all the wrong things we have carried within ourselves, our ego, selfishness, anger, desires, attachments, and mistakes. When we remain close to the bhaktas and sincerely remember God, these impurities slowly begin to be removed, just as fire removes the impurities from gold and makes it pure.
That is why we want to remember and chant the Holy Name of Sri Hari,Sri Hari, Sri Hari, Sri Vithala Giridhari Parabrahmane Namaha. We see the Name of the Lord as medicine for the heart. When we chant His Name, we bring our minds back to Him instead of allowing ourselves to become lost in worries, desires, and distractions. The more we remember Him, the more we can let go of our ego and become humble.
We know that Sri Hari is infinite, all-powerful, and beyond our understanding. Yet He is also close to His devotees and is the Life of the whole world. This gives us hope, because even though we may feel small and unworthy, we can still approach Him with love and ask for His https://t.co/2b8N8Dy4Wg our prayer is simple:
Lord, please have mercy on us. Keep us close to You and among Your sincere devotees. Purify our hearts and remove our ego and impurities. Help us remember Your Holy Name always. When we are weak, give us strength. When we are lost, guide us. When we are sinking, lift us up and carry us across. Please never leave us, and always remain with Your bhaktas. We place our whole lives, every fear, every weakness, and every hope into Your hands. Even when we cannot see the way forward, we trust that Your Grace will lead us safely home.
Let us never forget Your Name, never lose faith in Your mercy, and never turn away from Your loving presence.Carry us across this ocean of life, and let us rest forever at Your feet Hari Hari Hari Jai Jai Ram krishna Hari
Remember the SadGuru and Sri Hari, awaken to the temporary nature of worldly life, and seek what is eternal. The SadGuru shows the way, while Sri Hari is the ultimate refuge and destination. The Divine Name is the boat that carries us across the ocean of samsara, the cycle of birth, death, attachment and suffering. Remember that our husband, wife, children, body, home, wealth and possessions cannot remain with us forever. This does not mean we should stop loving our family rather, we should love and serve all without believing that temporary things can provide permanent happiness. The countless births we have passed through reveal how precious human life is and how rare the opportunity to seek liberation and attain the lotus feet of Sri Hari is . The stories of Ajamila the miser, Gajendra the mighty elephant and Pingala the courtesan illustrate this path. Ajamila shows the power and mercy of the Divine Name. Gajendra shows surrender when human strength fails. Pingala shows that worldly desire cannot provide lasting peace. Their stories remind us that no one is too fallen or too far from God to turn toward Him. The nectar of immortality, Amrit, is given through the SadGuru in the form of the Divine Name. Attachment, ego, greed and uncontrolled desire are the poisons that keep us from receiving Sri Hari’s grace. Therefore, why choose temporary pleasures when the nectar of remembrance is available? Abandoning doubts about do’s and don’ts does not mean abandoning morality. It means not allowing doubt or perfectionism to prevent spiritual practice. Begin remembering Sri Hari now. Through the SadGuru’s grace, remembrance becomes devotion, devotion becomes surrender, and surrender blossoms into divine love. Ultimately, the goal is not merely freedom from suffering or worldly gain, but love for the Supreme Lord. The deepest question is: When everything I call “mine” is eventually taken away, what have I cultivated in my heart? The answer is: the Holy Name, His remembrance, surrender and, ultimately, the love and grace of Sri Hari.
Remembering Karna as Pitru Paksh begins.
One of the most difficult lives, yet most beautiful inner character. Stuck in the middle of adharma due to destiny, yet so close to Sri Krishna’s heart. Having nothing, receiving only thorns from the world, yet giving the very best of himself away in selfless charity to everyone. Karna forgot about himself completely in compassion for all. The very few times Sri Krishna truly cried in His life, one of them was when Karna was dying. Such an extraordinary attainment of being so close to Bhagavan’s heart, for someone who was only tormented his entire life. To remove Karna’s pain of being unwanted and unloved, Sri Krishna showed him the endless closeness they had always had. Even in past lives when Karna (Sahastrakavach) had alone fought against Sri Krishna (Narayan) and Arjun (Nara), his true self was dearest to the merciful heart of Bhagavan. And during the Mahabharat war, this was the last time they would stand against each other. After this life they would always stand together. As he was dying, Sri Krishna promised Karna the end of all feelings of separation from His heart, eternal dearness and sweetness. Karna was one of the very rare people who received an Adesh from Sri Krishna as he was dying. The other was Hanuman. Sri Ram gave His final Adesh to Hanuman as Sri Ram was leaving the world and Hanuman ji is fulfilling it till today. And on the other hand, Sri Krishna gave His final Adesh to karna as karna was dying. Just imagining how much trust and love Bhagavan must have had in him touches the heart so deeply. And Karna has lived up to that trust and love fully.
Every year during Pitru Paksha, Karna comes from Vaikuntha and offers food for all lineages, to all ancestors. During his life, he could never remember or offer food for his ancestors because he never knew what his true lineage was. But that which was Karna’s greatest pain, of being so unloved and unwanted, Sri Krishna gave him complete mastery over it—coming every year to be the one loving and feeding all those who have left their body. To share Sri Krishna’s infinite love with them through the performance of Shraddha. During the days of Pitru Paksh, remember to give thanks for everything that the SatGuru, Bhagavan, endlessly gives, and offer food in charity as much as possible. Blessings.
Divine Sangat.
Sat sangat — the association of people focused on the Ultimate Truth (Sat), where Bhagavan’s Name is remembered and loved.
Sadhu sangat — the association of saints and spiritually elevated teachers, where one can grow because of their teachings, the mind can be purified to some extent with their blessing.
Bhagavad Sangat — the association of Bhagavan within the heart and the cosmic entity in control of everything, present everywhere. This was given to the rarest of saints. Not all saints were also qualified for this experience.
Guru Sangat — even rarer were the saints who realized the importance of the Guru. Who gave their all to Guru Seva, who became Gurmukh, Guru Bhaktas. Like Sant Kabir Dev ji, who immediately and forever chose the Guru’s feet even above Bhagavan’s.
But if one is fortunate to receive SatGuru Sangat, then one has received everything. The company of the SatGuru is the most rarely obtained jewel. At His feet, is sat sangat. At His feet, is sadhu sangat. At His feet, is Bhagavad sangat. At His feet, reside all Gurus. One doesn’t have to go anywhere else, to anyone else. The Name of the SatGuru, His lotus feet, His acceptance of oneself in His company. This is the atma’s Purna Vishram.
Sometimes, the greatest blessings in our lives are the ones we never thought to ask for. A door opened when we thought everything was closing.
A person came into our life when we needed them most.
A path changed when we were certain we knew where we were going.
A prayer was answered in a way we never expected. That is why being grateful is more than simply saying “thank you.” It is trusting Satguru wisdom even when we cannot understand the journey.
We often ask for what we think will make us happy, but SadGuru knows what our soul truly needs. Some blessings arrive as opportunities. Some arrive as people. Some arrive as protection. And sometimes, a blessing is simply being kept away from something we desperately wanted.
So today, pause for a moment.
Be grateful for the blessings you recognize. Be grateful for the blessings you haven't recognized yet.
Be grateful for the doors that opened.
And be grateful for the doors Sri Hari chose to keep closed.Because what feels like a delay may be divine timing.
What feels like a loss may be protection. What feels like an unanswered prayer may be an answer we are not ready to understand.
Grateful and thankfulness ,SriHari SadGuru. For every blessing I asked for, and especially for the ones I never knew I needed. Success can build your name, but Seva builds your character.
We live in a world that constantly tells us to achieve more, earn more, own more, and become more. But Satguru reminds us that the true measure of a life is not only what we achieve for ourselves ,it is what we do for others. Your SUCCESS isn’t meaningful without SEVA.Because success becomes beautiful when it gives you the ability to lift someone else.
Your WEALTH isn’t blessed without giving a part to service Because what SriHari has given us is not meant to become a reason for attachment. Sharing what we have turns abundance into blessing.Your SERVICE isn’t Seva without LOVE. Seva is not about being seen. It is not about praise, recognition, or proving that we are better than others. True Seva comes from a heart that genuinely wants to help. Your VOICE isn’t powerful without TRUTH. Words can influence people, but truth gives those words meaning. Speak with courage, but also with humility and compassion and don’t used your word in any to hurt anyone. Your KNOWLEDGE isn’t wisdom without the true word and knowledge of the Satguru Knowing more does not automatically make us wiser. Wisdom is learning how to live what we know with humility, compassion, patience, and remembrance of Satguru.
At the end of the day, it isn't about how much you collected.
It is about how much you shared.
It isn't about how many people know your name. It is about how many lives became a little better because you were there. It isn't about looking successful. It is about becoming useful.
Earn, but remember to share.
Grow, but remember to serve.
Speak, but remember the truth.
Learn, but remember humility.
Live, but remember Sri Hari.
Because a meaningful life isn't measured only by what you have.
It is measured by what you give.
Seva. Constance remembering of God name. Truth. Humility.
The SadGuru has dispelled the fever that burned within my soul. The heat of sorrow has become coolness, the darkness has become light, and my restless heart has found its resting place in the remembrance of the Beloved, Sri Hari. What I could not heal by my own strength, He healed through His mercy and love. What I could not understand, He revealed through His grace. O my Lord, You saw my suffering before I could speak of it. You knew every hidden wound, every silent fear, every tear, and every longing within me. Yet You did not turn away. You came near. Your love is greater than my weakness, Your mercy greater than my mistakes, Your patience greater than my wandering, and Your compassion greater than anything I could ever deserve. The SadGuru has touched the place where sorrow had taken root and planted there the remembrance of Your Name. Hari, Hari. When Your Name arises within the heart, fear becomes peace, emptiness becomes fullness, and loneliness becomes the realization that the Beloved was always near. The unstruck melody resounds within, and in its sacred silence I begin to understand that Your love was surrounding me even when I could not see it. You were there when I rejoiced, when I suffered, when I understood, and when I was lost. I thought I had to find You, but You had never stopped seeking me. O Lord, every breath is a gift, every moment of peace is a gift, and even the desire to love You is Your gift. The greatest comfort is not that Sri Hari gives me everything I desire, but that God Himself is with me. You are my shelter when I am afraid, my medicine when I am wounded, my light when I cannot see, my strength when I am weak, and my peace when the world becomes restless. Let Your Name become the breath of my soul. May I remember You in joy and in sorrow, in strength and in weakness, until my final breath. O Beloved Lord of Love, You do not despise the broken heart or reject the one who returns after wandering. Even when I forget You, You do not forget me. I may change, but You do not change; I may become distant, but You remain near. O SadGuru, O Sri Hari, remove from me the fever of ego, the disease of separation, and the darkness of forgetfulness. Fill my heart with Your Name and Your love. The greatest blessing was never merely the comfort You gave me; it was that You allowed me to discover You. You are the healer, the protector, the giver, the Beloved, and the home of my soul. Heal me according to Your will, gently and completely. Heal what others can see and what only You know. Where there is pain, bring peace; where there is fear, bring Your presence; where there is emptiness, fill me with Your Name; where there is weakness, hold me with Your compassion. I do not ask to understand everything. I only ask for the humility to surrender. Take my wounded heart as it is, my imperfect faith, my tears, my hopes, and my fears. Let me rest in You. If healing comes slowly, give me patience; if it comes gently, give me gratitude. May my healing bring me closer to You and make my heart softer, quieter, kinder, and more grateful. O my SadGuru, when my mind wanders, gently bring it back to You; when my heart becomes heavy, let it rest in You. I have nothing to prove before You. I only wish to rest in Your mercy. Sri Hari, I am here. I am tired, but I am Yours. I have little to offer except this heart. Let that be enough. No more striving, no more fear, no need to understand everything—only Your Name, only Your mercy, only the gentle remembrance that I belong to You. Hari, Hari. With folded hands and a softened heart, I surrender. May I remain in Your remembrance, rest in Your love, and quietly accept Your will. May Your presence be enough.
Shubh Anant Chaturdashi.
If one wishes to deep dive into the wisdom, grace, and realizations hidden in every aspect of the Sanatan Dharma, even countless lifetimes won’t be enough. The saints, in fact, realized this very thing. They didn’t fear the cosmic cycle of reincarnation, they didn’t fear life on Earth. They were so in love with Bhagavan and His truly incredible love hidden everywhere, that they wanted to come again and again to fall deeper and deeper in love with Him. They wanted to constantly surrender and immerse themselves even more into the infinite ocean of bliss which is Sri Hari Narayan, Anant SatChidAnanda.
Two beautiful reminders are given on Anant Chaturdashi. (1) Ganesh Visarjan teaches us to look beyond all material limitations. (2) The Ananta Vrat is made to focus our gaze on the Ananta, the underlying, unchanging, infinite reality of Mahavishnu that remains after everything else is washed away. The 14-year Ananta Vrat is one of the most beautiful prayers dedicated to Shreeman Narayan, focusing on His form as Anant Padmanabha—the infinite eternal one who rests upon the cosmic ocean.
Another important reason why remembering Bhagavan and performing Ganesh Visarjan on Anant Chaturdashi is so important, is the arrival of Pitru Paksh in a few days. During Pitru Paksh, one goes into intense inward reflection, Sadhana, prayers for all ancestors, and deep gratitude for everything that came before, is given now, and will come afterwards. Through the beauty of Anant Chaturdashi, Bhagavan shows us that everything of the outside is changeable, but the lotus feet of the SatGuru are forever unchanged. So intensely focus on Him and embed deep gratitude within the consciousness. Blessings to all.
