@RugbyBits Yes and its weak sauce. I've never seen a penalty try where there is a covering player. Not even where there is a 3 on 1 or more. It seems an argument out of bias and would fail by creating a multitude of pen tries. Nearly every one would be a pen try by your argument.
@RugbyBits Again the law doesn't talk about odds. Its a notoriously harsh law that catches honest attempts with foul play as deliberate knock ons, thats why they're not discussing the odds of a try being scored. Its simple, a reasonable chance (low bar) of a tackle means no probable try.
@RugbyBits The law doesn't talk about if a defender is flat footed, the fact that there is a 1 in your 2-on-1 means it cannot be a probable try. That is simply how the law is set out.
@souljagoyteller A building may have many uses. A building could be used as a hospital or a military HQ or as accommodation. Note that they have not embedded themselves among sick civilians, the building is no longer being used as a hospital.
Immediate #SixNations thoughts...
1. Forget Dupont, Ramos the true backbone for France.
2. Farrell forced into changes which lift Ire from the funk.
3. Ita forwards improving rapido.
4. Welsh green shoots?
5. Scot rue Rome's rain.
6. Who knows what Eng are at.
@EmilyMaher11084 I was being slightly tongue in cheek but the Balacoune assist tackel and McCloskeys effort are both very Nienaber esque amongst a few others, McCkoskey jumped out the line a few times and Ringrose shot the line a fair few times. Anyway, much improved.
@EmilyMaher11084 Sure but you're lumping them together and giving the responsible party a free pass. Theres no objective way of looking at the treatment of CF and JC etc and not seeing toxic mgmt.
@EmilyMaher11084 Poor Beirne still getting flogged. Really though Izuchukwu had done enough, especially in defending the line out but hey ho. Agree re JvdF, he's been so physical and ever-present for years now. He should be thinking McCaw esque sabbatical.
