i wanted to have at least four children until i saw mothers on tiktok talking about their experiences with motherhood. they truly opened my eyes and shown me the reality that literally no one else talks about. im so grateful for their honesty, it’s the reason why i want no kids

The overwhelming majority of the comment section is women (mostly moms!) encouraging girls to stay child-free. It’s almost dystopian to see women so resentful of motherhood. I keep thinking about the young girls who’ll read this and absorb it as the smart and enlightened take. I probably would have.
