Basically caught the low and high on EU and GU today, all on demo. But didn't feel dialled in, so demo only. The progression of a trader is not about taking more trades, understanding when the market and you are ready is very important.

The secret of trading is that there is none. You just study price, guess up or down, let your subconscious soak in the results, slowly build a system around it, watch the system go up in flames seven times and repeatably get slapped in the face until the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of change. You dive into the heaps of half-assed journalled trades and mistakes. Realise that nothing changes if nothing changes. Question your irrational behaviour. Delve into the darkest parts of your mind. Stumble upon some belief about money and losing you randomly adopted. Discover the gold mine of observing your thought process. Make small tweaks. Make big tweaks. Make small tweaks. Reset and restart. Reset and restart. Reset and restart. Until it gets easier. Until things start clicking. But here's the thing: it never stops clicking. The moment you get profitable is the moment you realise this is just the beginning. Made a big payout? Tomorrow gotta do it all over again. Cracked the code? Tomorrow gotta do it all over again. You're never finished. You're never done. You're not behind. You're not missing out. Enjoy the process, because that's all there is.

@traders_casa any chance you could add custom timeframes (6h, 8h, 10h etc) for quick access to the top bar, also syncing timeframes with the current chart? Would speed up backtesting a lot more! Thanks

When learning to trade do not strive to make more money but strive to be more consistent and have a process you can follow every day. Money will follow if your equality curve does not look like the PA of a meme coin.

Oddly enough, this post will either make people happy to see the possibilities in trading or really piss off some people…

Your perception will decide which part of you receives it.

Nonetheless, these are examples of THE SAME SELL being executed from many different strategies / trading styles.

When I say anything can work, I really mean it.

Remember with confirmation bias, we tend to see what we are looking for to confirm our beliefs (in this case, our strategy).

Keep in mind I still could list more strategies (yes I have really studied this much in my years trading ) and in the ones I already listed, there were multiple examples on different timeframes.

Trade what works for you. YOU are the edge, the strategy is only a template. Happy trading 🥂
