@_tannia_xx So true

[Tokunbo Adejuwon @ToksAdejuwon]

God’s Word is true but it is until we act upon it that it becomes true in our lives and in our circumstances. Don’t merely mentally assent to God’s Word, act on it. Faith is acting on the Word of God.

Signs Will Follow You
By Kenneth E. Hagin

And these signs shall follow them that believe. . . .—MARK 16:17

People everywhere have clung to the first part of the Great Commission: “And he [Jesus] said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned” (Mark 16:15–16). Why have people clung to the first part?

They knew how to use that part to believe and be saved—to receive salvation, and the remission of sin. But many people have turned away from the rest of the Great Commission because they didn’t know how to use it.

Verse 17 says, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues.”

One man said to me, “Now that can’t be so. I’m just as saved as you are, and none of those signs follow me.”

I said, “It didn’t say that the signs would follow them that don’t believe. It said that the signs would follow them that believe. You just finished saying that you don’t believe.”

He said, “I don’t.”

I said, “Then why would you expect any signs to follow you? You have to believe what God said first and then the signs will follow you.”

Provision for man’s healing is also found in this Great Commission. Let’s continue reading. Verse 18 says, “They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; THEY SHALL LAY HANDS ON THE SICK, AND THEY SHALL RECOVER.” This is another sign that follows those who believe.

Confession:
I am a believer, not a doubter. Signs, such as speaking with tongues and laying hands on the sick and seeing them recover, follow me.

The Tangibility of the Power of God
By Kenneth E. Hagin

And the whole multitude sought to touch him [Jesus]: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.—LUKE 6:19

There is a parallel between electricity in the natural realm and the anointing, or power of God, in the spiritual realm. There are spiritual laws that govern the power of God, just as there are natural laws that govern the operation of electricity. The Lord Jesus Christ and the apostle Paul revealed and applied the laws of the Spirit of God and the power of God.

The power of God is a tangible substance. It is a heavenly materiality. The word “tangible” means capable of being touched and perceptible to the touch. It has to be tangible, because Jesus knew immediately when that power went out of him into the woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:30). If it weren’t tangible, how would He have known? Not only was He aware of the outflow, the woman with the issue of blood was aware of the reception (vv. 29, 33).

The healing power of God is a tangible substance. It is a heavenly materiality. It is capable of being stored in a material such as a handkerchief, as demonstrated by the handkerchiefs of Paul and the garments of Jesus. For example, the woman with the issue of blood did not touch Jesus’ person; she touched His garment. She touched His clothes.

The power of God can be transmitted from handkerchiefs to a person. We see in the Bible that its action on the sick was so powerful that diseases left. The demonized also were delivered. Both the physically sick and the insane were healed by this method.

Confession:
The power of God is just the same today as it was in the ministry of Jesus. And I receive that power and benefit from it the same way people received it under Jesus’ ministry—by faith.

BE FILLED
By Kenneth E. Hagin

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. — COLOSSIANS 3:16,17

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. — 1 THESSALONIANS 5:18

Notice how yesterday’s scripture and today’s scripture are very similar. A song in the heart and the giving of thanks simply go hand-in-hand.

And if you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you will experience this praise and this thanksgiving.

If you don’t, then you’re simply not filled with the Spirit. Be filled! (See John 7:37-39, 14:16,17; Acts 1:4,5, 2:4, 8:14-17, 10:44-46, 19:1-3,6.) Then you’ll have a spirit of praise and a spirit of thanksgiving.

Confession
I let the word of Christ dwell in me richly. I benefit from teaching and admonishing in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. I sing with grace in my heart to the Lord. Whatever I do in word or deed, I do in the Name of the Lord Jesus. I give thanks to God the Father by Him.

Proverbs 3:5-7aMSG
Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all.❤️🙏

If you dwell on “the whys”, you will lose your mind. If you dwell on “His word”, you will have the mind of Christ!

Never make a truth become the truth. The fact that a little bit of something is good doesn’t always mean more of it is better. A little salt in your food is good but more may not be better, it might be dangerous.

Error isn’t necessarily outright lies; it might just be an overblown truth or a truth put out at the expense of other truths from God’s Word.

That’s why it’s always important to preach and teach the entire counsel of God’s Word with appropriate emphasis on the things God emphasizes and with the same degree of emphasis.

Extreme emphasis on just about any subject from the Word can be dangerous and detrimental to the cause of Christ.
