"Death really did not matter to him but life did, and therefore the sensation he felt when they gave their decision was not a feeling of fear but of nostalgia." - Gabriel García Márquez, One Hundred Years of Solitude
a lot of people seem to forget this when criticising little jane's apprehension towards p'jane's life: that he comes from a normal background. middle class family. the most he's had to worry about pre-p'jane was which course to take, football matches and maybe how to take care of his family.
and now he's basically walking into sharks-infested water. he's decided to learn how to shoot because he's been shot at and this is his life now. because he's part of p'jane's life, and p'jane's life is complicated and dangerous af. this is the sacrifice little jane is making, when he decides to get back with p'jane.
I don’t know what else to say but thank you.
Thank you for being here with us and for making this project so much more special with your love.💜

i know they have explored each other’s bodies and tongues before but how comfortable are you to be inserting your fingers in your costar’s mouth and nose like it’s nothing unless yall are fucking dating
Beloved Palestinian academic, teacher & poet Refaat Alareer's (@GazaWritesBack) last poem before he was murdered by Israel was about the kids in Gaza playing with Kites.
Today Israel killed a 4 y.o kid for doing just that!
Brian Cox reads below Refaat's poem," If I Must Die"
