You're watching the last, desperate gasp of the liberal RINO machine that has kept a death-grip on power in South Carolina by using open Republican primaries heavily infiltrated by Democrat voters.
Lindsey Graham was its dean, and he counted on those Democrat voters to pad his primary totals, subverting the will of Republican voters and sending him back to Washington.
This machine is manned by "Republicans" who would run as democrats if they lived in another state.
It is so liberal, it leaders in the state legislature defeated the redrawing of the state's gerrymandered Democrat congressional district after SCOTUS found it unconstitutional, and justified keeping it in Democrat hands by arguing that Republicans are stronger when they have Democrat competition.
A machine that spent millions just weeks ago trying to purge every last conservative Republican out of office in a vicious mailing campaign of smears and lies, in particular the Freedom Caucus.
It has kept a generation of conservatives out of high office. Now they're desperately trying to hold on to power using Trump endorsements, and Lindsey Graham's sister.
South Carolina has the kind of voters that could turn it into a free state like Florida. The first step is ending the machine once and for all Aug. 11.
@nicksortor@seanhannity This is NOT what us South Carolinians want. She was just supposed to be a placeholder until January. Feels like a bait and switch to me.
@mattvanswol Weird thought, the Government is lying to us. Before you come for me I'm a staunch Conservative, voted for Pres Trump 3x. Just something stinks, not adding up.
@EzC389@Bacontrophy84@shipwreckshow That was a primary , we still have to have the general election in November. There IS a Democrat on the ballot also
@Bacontrophy84@shipwreckshow I'm a SC poll manager. We now have to have ANOTHER primary to replace him on the Nov ballot. Are we supposed to ALSO have an election to complete his term? Doesn't work like that ๐
@NancyMace We are having a special primary on Aug 11 to replace him She is just a place holder to finish out his term. Does no one understand how this works? I'm a Poll Manager in SC, this is the correct procedure. What do you want, an immediate election to fill his seat until January?
