🇷🇺 Putin's Bomber Fleet is Dying. Replacing it could be Russia's biggest military nightmare.

Russia's strategic bomber force is under mounting pressure as aging Soviet era aircraft, battlefield losses, and the enormous cost of replacement collide.

The backbone of the fleet, including the Tu-95 Bear and Tu-22M3 Backfire, is decades old and becoming increasingly difficult and expensive to sustain.

The challenge grew after Ukraine's Operation Spiderweb, which struck strategic bombers at multiple air bases deep inside Russia. Independent analysts have assessed that several aircraft were damaged or destroyed, although the full extent remains disputed.

Russia's next generation PAK DA stealth bomber has yet to enter operational service after years of delays, leaving Moscow dependent on aircraft designed during the Cold War.

Meanwhile, the United States is moving in the opposite direction, fielding the B-21 Raider as the successor to the stealth B-2 Spirit, while Russia is still working to bring its own next generation bomber to fruition.

Building a strategic bomber is one of the hardest tasks in military aviation. Losing one takes a day. Replacing one can take decades.

Det är inte första gången som Avangards anläggning attackeras av ryssarna för övrigt. 2022 ledde den ryska attacken till att 4,4 miljoner höns och kycklingar dödades, företaget förlorade 330 miljoner USD och det blev brist och priserna på ägg och kycklingkött steg i hela landet.
