If you’re asking me for a brand-new iPhone XR, 11, 12 Pro Max, 13 Pro Max, 14 Pro Max, 15 Pro Max, etc., please understand this:
Apple no longer produces these models as brand-new units.
The only iPhone generations currently being produced as brand-new models are the 16 series, 17 series and 18 series.
So when someone tells you they have a “brand-new XR,” “brand-new 12 Pro Max,” “brand-new 13 Pro Max,” or any other discontinued model, BE VERY CAREFUL.
Some of these phones are:
🇬🇧 UK-used phones that have been repackaged
♻️ Refurbished units
Phones assembled using different parts
Old stock being presented as “brand new”
And the scary part? The phone might look perfectly new when you buy it. But within a few months, you could start experiencing problems because of the parts or refurbishment.
DON’T LET THEM SCAM YOU. 🚨
A sealed box does NOT automatically mean a brand-new phone.
This is a story that was shared by Man C.
Two best friends with great potentials attended a popular secondary school in Yaba, Lagos.
Man A had a girlfriend, he was handsome and brilliant, but from a poor home.
Man B was handsome, from a rich home, and a spoilt brat.
When they entered SS2, Man B started making advances towards his friend’s girlfriend.
He even invited her to his family’s end-of-year party.
Being a virgin, she saw the rich family and decided that was her cue to lose her virginity to Man B.
Out of guilt, she told Man A, and that was how the main problem started.
Man A was hurt.
He felt his best friend had betrayed him and that she had chosen Man B because of his family wealth.
He decided to forgive, but he did not forget.
They all finished secondary school.
Both friends gained admission into a popular university in the Southwest, where they met Man C.
They all became friends and coursemates.
It happened that Man B, who was from a rich home, fell in love with a girl in 200 level.
Both Man C and Man A were aware of the relationship, but Man A had other plans.
Man A remembered what had happened and discussed it with Man C, who advised him to let it go.
He appeared to do so and allowed them to enjoy their relationship until they graduated.
Unbeknown to them, Man A had joined a cult group, hoping to take his pound of flesh someday. He still kept the grudge hot.
A year after youth service, exactly six years after the incident in secondary school, Man B announced that he and his girlfriend were getting married.
Man A felt that was the perfect opportunity to strike.
Man A secretly arranged his cult members and they visited Man B and his girlfriend.
Things quickly escalated.
Man B’s girlfriend was raped while he was held down at gunpoint and forced to watch helplessly as those men took turns on her.
She later committed suicide.
Man B was badly beaten and went into a coma.
Man A was arrested and served about five years in prison.
The trauma, however, stayed with Man B, who was taken abroad for proper treatment.
Man C uncle concluded the story with these words, which I think every young man should listen to:
"Young man, the bro code exists. It takes a stupid man to move in on his brother’s woman. God forgives, but men never forgive a brother who sleeps with their women."
AJD.
Honestly Agba you nail it all.
My mother always told "your father won't allow this" do you think your father we like this/that after my dad pass away while I was just 8years.
She make sure I follow his path in all ways.
I'll for ever cherish and honor my parents.
This thread is going to be long.
So please take time to read it when you're able to.
Every generation is meant to stand on the shoulders of the one before it.
A good father desires his son to become not merely a copy of himself, but a better version of what he started.
Likewise, a loving mother hopes her son grows into a man of integrity, wisdom, and responsibility. The purpose of family is not stagnation but progress.
A father is often a son's first example of manhood. Whether through his successes, sacrifices, mistakes, or virtues, he teaches lessons that no classroom can fully replicate.
Looking up to one's father does not mean believing he is perfect. Every father is human and will have strengths and weaknesses. Rather, it means recognizing the value of his journey, his sacrifices, and the wisdom gained through his experiences.
A son who respects his father gains several advantages:
1. He learns discipline and responsibility.
2. He understands the value of hard work and perseverance.
3. He gains insight from lessons already paid for through his father's struggles.
4. He develops a sense of identity and belonging.
A wise son studies both what his father did right and what he did wrong. The father's victories become examples to follow, while his failures become lessons to learn from.
To become better than one's father is not an act of disrespect. In fact, it is one of the highest forms of honor.
A father who built a small business hopes his son builds a larger one. A father who attained a certain level of education hopes his son goes further.
A father who overcame poverty hopes his son experiences prosperity. Progress is the natural goal of every healthy family line.
Being "better" does not necessarily mean earning more money. It can mean:
1. Having greater emotional intelligence.
2. Being a better husband.
3. Being a more present father.
4. Living with more integrity.
5. Making wiser decisions.
The true measure of success is not merely wealth but becoming a more complete and mature individual.
If each generation only equals the previous one, society stands still. If each generation improves upon the last, families flourish.
A mother often makes sacrifices that are unseen and uncelebrated. She carries, nurtures, protects, teaches, comforts, and often puts the needs of her children above her own.
Honoring a mother involves more than words. It means:
1. Speaking respectfully to her.
2. Appreciating her sacrifices.
3. Supporting her when she grows older.
4. Protecting her dignity.
5. Showing gratitude for her role in your life.
A man's treatment of his mother often reveals much about his character. If he cannot appreciate the woman who raised him, it becomes difficult for him to fully appreciate other women in his life.
Honoring a mother does not require agreement with every opinion she holds. Mature honor can coexist with independent thinking.
A son can make his own decisions while still showing love and respect.
One of the most important decisions a man will ever make is choosing a wife.
A wife becomes:
1. A life partner.
2. A confidant.
3. A supporter during difficult seasons.
4. A co-builder of the family.
5. The future mother of his children.
A good wife contributes not only to a man's happiness but also to his growth and stability.
When choosing a wife, a man should evaluate qualities such as:
1. Character.
2. Kindness.
3. Emotional maturity.
4. Wisdom.
5. Loyalty.
Beauty may attract attention, but character sustains relationships.
A wise man understands that the person he marries will influence the direction of his life for decades. Therefore, choosing a spouse should be guided by wisdom rather than impulse.
This Psquare matter is funny to me because I can transfer every money in my account to my elder bro's account or my mom's account and I'll sleep in peace because I know it is safe.
As it is now, the children of Paul and the children of Peter cannot have a relationship. Ifvanything happens to one brother, the other brother will not step in for the bro's family.
How did it get so bad? I've never understood greed or why money should be valued above your relationship that you destroy what actually matters because of money.
Let me tell you the best any parent can do to minimize the occurrence of feud, envy, betrayal, greed, and entitlement amongst siblings.
It's to ensure that every child is given an equal or fair opportunity in life, and that one sibling is not meant to sacrifice their own self for another.
Where there are parents who have three or more children, and they cannot provide for them, and now have to use one child to provide for the rest, it can lead to resentment or entitlement.
Polygamy is also another factor.
When a man has more than one wife and many children, and he can only provide for the first wife's children before his finances or health start to decline, it creates anger and envy.
In summary, the fewer the children, the fewer your responsibilities, and the more equal or fair opportunities your children have.
Think deeply about this, you'ld understand what I am saying.
End.
Privilege is such an interesting thing I often find myself thinking about. We do not ask for the life we have, and that is why I'm very mindful of it. You often find it a lot in my writing.
Last week, my cleaner told me on Monday(2 days ago) was her birthday. I asked her what age we are celebrating and she said 33. Epiphany hit me that my agemate is my cleaner. I wore a wry smile as I nodded my head and told her to remind me on Monday so she could get her gift.
I then went to my room to deal with the epiphany of privilege. In another universe, that could easily have been me.
@neo_officialll You still did not get the point, you have to start with the little capital you have while you scale through before investors start coming.
No one we ever hand over there money to you no matter how beautiful the business plan look, start somewhere and hope for the best.
