127 years this day,14th December 1894 Bahta Hagos, a well-known chief in Akle Guzai #Eritrea rebelled against the colonial army. He was allied with Italians to begin with but when they began confiscating land, he rebelled. He was killed in a battle with the Italians on the 18th.
