On the issue of deportation, New York Governor Kathy Hochul said that she was going to be "checking into" whether or not they should be deported.

"I think that’s actually something that should be looked at. I mean, if someone commits a crime against a police officer in the state of New York and they’re not here legally, it’s definitely worth checking into," Hochul said.

"It’s wrong on all accounts and I’m looking to judges and prosecutors to do the right thing."

Just saw this from yesterday. This funnel cloud/possible brief tornado occured between Hemet and Banning pass yesterday at the north end of the Elsiore convergence zone. This is the 2nd similar event in less then a year in this famously unstable area where winds funnel through 10,000ft mtn peaks to the desert floor.
