Leaders who fear being pushy can overcompensate & become too passive, craving to be liked.
Leaders who fear being passive can overcompensate & become too pushy clawing for control.
Leaders who value being effective are at peace with themselves & lead from a place rest.
If everything is most important then nothing is most important. Drill down, pray, reflect, and seek counsel to discern what is most important. There cannot be multiple number one priorities. Enter 2023 with simple clarity in what is important. Then go from there.
Build a strong core on the inside rather than catering to the crowd on the outside. Construct culture, cultivate climate and connect strategically with those you are called to reach. Who you are will speak volumes.
Reaching, embracing and discipling the next generation will never happen conveniently, incidentally or by accident. The endeavor must be deliberate and intentional with a learner’s approach that is both humble and flexible. Most of all the work must begin in our hearts.
As we begin our 2022 Prayer, Fasting, and Consecration Week, @joeybonifacio, Pastor of Every Nation Church Singapore, encourages us to stay hungry and humble for God’s Word to touch our lives.
