The grammar mistake I am most likely to make is the one about transcribing the wrong character. Since I am always rushing my assignments, I would not notice that the characters are not the same.

The writing-related story that surprised the most is the one about TAYLOR & SONS. A single "S" got a prosperous company bankrupt when it should have been TAYLOR & SON singular.

The funniest joke in the video was when the creator said to not write laws if you have bad grammar and then proceeded to make a lot of grammatical mistakes on purpose. Like what even is "Specificionment" LOL.

I only have 2 hopes for the nearby future:
1) No recession, since the pandemic already strained the economy enough, many families are at risk.
2) Normal college classes, can't focus studying at home.

Not everything about the pandemic is terrible, it also brought some goods things like a decline in air pollution. Staying at home would mean a decreased need to drive.

From what a friend in Peru told me, there's an increased police presence in the streets. Not to inspire fear, but to patrol and make sure everyone follows the national curfew.
Staying outside after 6PM will get you arrested.

Face masks, one the most important items at the time. It is mandatory to wear one if you go outside. Not wearing one would make you the target of fear and prejudice.

You would think that COVID-19 kills indiscriminately, but it's actually an opportunity killer. Everyone can get it, but minorities are more likely to get it due their lack of affordable healthcare and an unstable income.

Racial Profiling not only affects the victims, but the perpetrators as well. When a person starts feeling anxiety about someone else's race, the part of their brain that controls fear is activated. It's a fear of black men that makes them see things.

"...the number of stops of young black men (168,126) actually exceeded the number of young black men in New York City (158,406)." 😱

I don't remember being racially profiled before, so we're going to treat it as if it didn't happen to me. I think one of the reasons why is because I don't stand out, I don't act "Asian" enough that people would use the Asian stereotype on me.

It is not required for admission officers to check their applicants' social media, just like how they aren't forbidden to do so either. It is up the admission officers.
