I write as a psychiatrist. Misspeaking occasionally is one thing; doing it every day is a different story. Trump has exhibited word-finding difficulties, as well as confusion, wandering, illogical speech, and inability to foresee the consequences of his actions.

I've found potential neurological signs in Trump's official photos: drooping right eyelid, flattened right nasolabial fold. These suggest a possible transient stroke. An MRI is indicated, but we'll never see one. We're in 25th Amendment territory.

Six months ago I watched Trump wander away from Japan's Prime Minister in apparent confusion, needing her to redirect him. As a psychiatrist, I've seen this exact pattern in demented patients. The question isn't rhetorical anymore.
