Well, in Brixton the heavens opened today with some much needed rain, and what better way to celebrate that than with this charming performance at the Angell Town Estate by the magnificent @BrixChamber Orchestra - Enjoy!

Please @LambethLabour can we have much more of this in @EventBrockwell - the new wild flower meadow is lovely but doesn't make up for the unecessary destruction of other parts of our equally lovely @BrockwellParkCP

[Henry Little @henryblittle]

A joy and a pleasure to catch @BrixChamber first Gig of their groundbreaking Lambeth Estates Summer Tour tonight - great music making - great audience - hear and see their extraordinary set from Lully to ABBA at a Lambeth Estate near you between now and Sunday 28th July!

[Jeremy Clyne @Jeremy_Clyne]

Just about sums it up. If Brockwell Park, Clapham Common and Streatham Common (or large parts of them) are designated by @lambeth_council as of “low biodiversity value” it’s largely due to repeated trashing from large-scale events @openspacessoc @ClaphamCommon1 @BrockwellParkCP

[Henry Little @henryblittle]

So, we’re asked to get off our bikes @BrockwellParkCP while @JimDicksLambeth and his cronies @LambethLabour allow HGV’s, bulldozers, fork lift trucks to damage and disrupt our lovely park! Where are your green credentials now @lambeth_council? Hypocrisy in action!

[Henry Little @henryblittle]

I urge all of us who care about @BrockwellParkCP to write to @JimDicksLambeth to protest at the unnecessary and appalling felling of our trees to facilitate the imminent festival set up. How can @LambethLabour claim to care about the environment when this is the way they behave?

[Henry Little @henryblittle]

It's happening again. The unwelcome and disruptive and damaging invasion of our lovely @BrockwellParkCP @lambeth_council and @LambethLabour especially @JimDicksLambeth should hold their heads in shame!

Huge thanks to all our partners for such a thrilling and deeply moving Simon Boccanegra. @OperaRara @Opera_North @BridgewaterHall @rncmlive

@EurostarUK You need to be much more proactive about informing your customers about what is going on and how you plan to deal with it!

[Henry Little @henryblittle]

In terms of plumbing the depths of customer service, it’s hard to see how anyone could go any lower than @EurostarUK - still stuck outside Brussels with no plan or idea when or if we’ll ever get to Amsterdam!

[Henry Little @henryblittle]

@EurostarUK Are you able to confirm whether or not Eurostar will take me to Amsterdam today? And if not, what you propose to do when (as we have been informed) the train we are in returns to Brussels?

[Henry Little @henryblittle]

I’m stuck on @EurostarUK train from London to Amsterdam outside Brussels for over one hour now - no explanation or forecast when we might move again - appalling communication from train staff - very poor customer service indeed - should have taken the plane!

[Henry Little @henryblittle]

Happy Christmas Brixton! from the marvellous, and oh so lovely @BrixChamber Orchestra - if this doesn't get you in the festive mood, nothing will.....!

[Henry Little @henryblittle]

The amazing and totally fabulous @BrixChamber Orchestra are playing at a Council Estate near you in SW2 - don't miss them - they play a stunning set - from Medieval Mash Up to Rap -they even sing too! Utterly unmissable!

@DavidCameron_PM's return to Government, having presided over the worst foreign policy disaster of our generation (Brexit Referendum) proves that in the dying days of the @Conservatives regime, that the lunatics have indeed taken over the asylum!

One hour delay and counting @Gatwick_Airport for Iberia flight to Madrid, despite plane being ready for boarding because ‘departing and disembarking passengers can’t mix’! Total shambles - @Gatwick_Airport should do much better than this!

Wise and brave words about ENO from Sir Richard Mantle at the end of tonight’s opening night of La rondine at Opera North. Take note @DCMS @ace_national
