Together with Kakao’s stealth incubator, Solari is hosting a roundtable in SF for researchers and founders building computer-use agents and supporting infra, across frontier labs, agent startups, and university groups, discussing latest research and trends in the field.
It’s going to be very cool.

Claude Code was told to clear a temp folder. In 103 seconds it decided to delete about 48,000 live files instead.
It stopped, saying it "broke something".

I'm hiring a SWE intern for Pinetree Research, and the salary is $300K
Before you ask: 300K annualized. And no, we don't want your resume, coverletter, or grades
Here's how to apply:
1. Fork the Solari repo: https://t.co/TxbSy4v2XQ
2. Build a real use case with Solari (browsers, sandboxes, and/or desktops)
3. Publish it on a public Github account
4. Share it in a post on LinkedIn or X
Tag @harrychow_ and @getsolari
Use AI to build it. Seriously, we insist. We don’t care how you ship, we care that you can ship something great, and if you can ship if faster with AI, even better. (@im_roy_lee)
What happens next:
- We review every build that tags us
- If we like what you made, we schedule an interview
- If you're the right fit, we'll hire you on the spot
Know someone who can take on the challenge? Tag them below

When i was young I used to wonder how Id save as much information as possible in the event of a zombie apocalypse…now all I need to do is download a local model on my phone
A 35B language model running on an iPhone using only 1–2.5 GB of peak memory.
No cloud. No remote server. No desktop GPU.
Today, we’re open-sourcing Edge0 — a framework for running large AI models fully on-device.
With all the controversy surrounding this, many are overlooking that this is just GENUINELY impressive. LLMs only really took off after ChatGPT came out November 2022, and in less than 4 years we have used them to help substantially in solving Navier Stokes.
If you told me that 4 years ago, I wouldn’t have believed it at all.
We’re sharing a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize Problem, one of the deepest problems at the frontier of mathematics.
The proof was produced by a group of agents, using an OpenAI next-generation model significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra.
The problem concerns whether the description of smooth three-dimensional fluid motion modeled by the Navier-Stokes equations can break down. It has remained unresolved for roughly 90 years.
@samuel_spitz given that your company should NOT be sold for just 30M especially if you have 280 employees,
seems like the conclusion should be “be aware that 28% of potential founders cannot do math”
3) its incredibly inefficient. Its designed for trusted automation testing, not for web agents, and so its just so slow (even slower if you tried to jerry-rig something to address the first 2 points)
over dinner yesterday, was having a conversation about how ai browsers are basically dead. Atlas, comet etc. were huge flops.
Yet I believe browsers FOR ai are just getting started. Most people build web agents just by connecting playwright to their agents. Thats bad
2) Agents get blocked. Playwright leaves all sorts of fingerprints, and suddenly your agent is dealing with CAPTCHAs, Cloudflare, rate limits, or just getting banned.
1) It’s dangerous! You’re letting arbitrary websites execute inside a browser that is often running directly on the same machine as your agent. Browsers exploits dont even need to trick your agent. It can directly escape the browser, and compromise the underlying system
