@ChrisBlec@AntonioMJuliano@apolynya Well Uniswap contracts are completely immutable without any admin rights. Even if Uniswap team disappear completely, the contracts run forever. Pls don't mix teams with immutable code.
@StaniKulechov Governance should not have such permission in the first place. Making contracts non-upgradable like @Uniswap is what makes DeFi different from CeFi.
Put selling vaults down -25% this week.
Don't put money into vaults like this in volatile markets. You are basically selling the vols to institutions at big discount.
The 66% APY is so misleading to unsophisticated users, that the actual APY has been -33%.
@tackettzane@FreddieRaynolds Most big Solana teams are publicly VC backed and don’t have incentives to rug, but doesn’t mean they cannot do malicious things. It’s like PayPal also won’t rug users, but u have no idea what’s happening inside and it’s never trustless.
@FreddieRaynolds In the long term, if more Solana projects start to embrace open source like Wormhole does, we expect to see more big hacking events compared to ETH.
@FreddieRaynolds It's hilarious to compare the hacking events of ETH vs SOL. Does people know why SOL has fewer hacking event? Not because SOL contracts are safer, it's because most SOL projects do not open source their code, meaning teams can rug you in anyway they want.
When a VC asked you to send the resumes and made the investment decision based on your profiles, it is a red flag.
A true web3 VC trust tech, insights and code more than whether you worked at FANNG or not.
