Over the past few years, most discussions around AI have focused on model power. Faster systems. Smarter outputs. Larger architectures. But one question rarely gets the same attention where does the value actually go?

In many cases, users act as the training layer. You interact, correct, refine, generate data through usage. The system improves. Yet the economic upside tends to stay concentrated at the centre. Contribution is distributed. Ownership is not. @ActionModelAI

An alternative structure is possible. One where participation is measurable. Where training activity, task execution, referrals, automations or published workflows can carry economic weight. Not just using AI, but contributing to it in a way that is tracked and attributable.

That shifts the focus away from how intelligent is the model? toward who captures the value created by intelligence?

The next phase of AI will likely be shaped less by raw capability and more by incentive design. Centralised extraction or distributed participation. Platform dependency or contributor alignment.

The real divide may not be about performance. It may be about ownership.
