2-1A Player to Watch: Carter Olson of Frankfort stands at 6’1 for the Wildcats and has been an outstanding athlete across the board in multiple sports. As a senior, Olsen has earned All-State honors in football (All-State 8M-II Offense) and baseball and has a 2nd place finish in the 100m State Championships last spring as a junior. Olsen batted .519 in his junior season with a .641 OBP and 26 stolen bases. He is pursuing college athletics in either track or baseball. When asked about the upcoming season Olsen said, “I am super excited on what our team can accomplish this year with all of our talents. We are all livid to go out and show everyone how good we can be and prove that we are one of the best in the state.” #sportsinkansas
