Shin Minah shared behind the scenes stories from filming the epic fantasy romance series #TheRemarriedEmpress, which is scheduled to premiere this October.

The series follows Navier (#ShinMinah), the perfect Empress of the Eastern Empire, who receives a divorce notice from Emperor Sovieshu (#JuJihoon) after he falls in love with the former runaway slave Rashta (#LeeSeyoung). In response, Navier asks for permission to remarry Heinrey (#LeeJongSuk), the prince of the Western Kingdom. Adapted from the popular web novel of the same name, the project has generated significant buzz since its early development stages.

Speaking about the release schedule, Shin Minah said:

"The exact premiere date hasn't been confirmed yet, but it looks like it will be released around late October. As far as I know, it's currently in post production. I really gave this project my all."

Addressing concerns about the unfamiliarity of a Western style fantasy romance, she said:

"To be honest, I had a lot of concerns before filming. But after constantly wearing the elaborate costumes and acting in that environment, I didn't feel awkward at all on set. Now I think we just have to wait and see how general audiences react once it's released. Since it's a project that has attracted so much attention, there's definitely some pressure, but I did my absolute best."

When asked whether the period style fantasy costumes were uncomfortable to wear, she replied with a smile:

"Rather than being uncomfortable, I actually had a lot of fun filming. The cast would even joke, 'When will we ever get another chance to wear outfits like these?'. Both the grand sets and the diverse costumes were incredibly special and enjoyable experiences for me as an actress."
