It’s the 25th anniversary of John Candy’s passing. We cooked up a small tribute to a comedic genius and Canadian hero. If you haven’t seen much of his work, take a look at his films. He was a treasure. Thanks to @chriscandy4u and @therealjencandy. 🇨🇦
@keithbaldrey Media & the public have no idea what classrooms are like today. Teachers exasperated at the lack of support students get. There is a crisis in our schools but people just want to talk about teacher vacation time and god forbid, them wanting a raise like every other working person
Every #BellLetsTalk Day, Canadians come together to speak out, break down stigma and talk openly about our mental health. We’ve come so far, but there’s still a long way to go. RT this and Bell donates 5 cents to mental health programs across the country.
@tamarataggart@VancouverSun Thank you for speaking up about this issue. Two water fountains were shut down after decades of use at my school. Teachers have been concerned for many years but the govt will only listen to parents who share their concerns with their MLA. Change happens when people speak up.
Myself and the large majority of the BC voters I know do NOT support your continued interference with the pipeline. We go to our jobs that help support the BC economy every day instead of protesting you jeopardizing our tax dollars. https://t.co/hsqlqJGe5X
Dear Premier #Horgan You're the democratically elected leader of a great Cdn province- Canadian. You're no longer a union/party activist. You're the CEO of #BC & a principal participant in our country's future, for better or worse. Make it better, Premier. Thank you. @jjhorgan
At a time when talking about it was far more difficult, my mother Margaret was fearless in discussing her mental health struggles. Her strength has been an inspiration. RT this to help others find their voices or get support. #BellLetsTalk
It’s #BellLetsTalk Day - a time to keep having important conversations about mental health, and of course raise some money too! Mental health challenges affect us all. RT this to support programs across the country.
They should change the name to Hypocrite Parade as they claim to promote inclusivity but ban the people they ask to protect them representing themselves #vancouverpride https://t.co/kulubC7L7n
