Our contribution to Nigeria is pioneering initiatives that improve maternal health outcomes. This is important because Nigeria accounts for 28% of global maternal deaths.
3 months post-launch, we've impacted 150+ women, reached more online, and won a grant from @hfn_nigeria. ๐

This World Preeclampsia Day, we at MyBelle and @heraidng join the global call to raise awareness with the theme: โKnow the Symptoms, Take Action.โ ๐
Preeclampsia is a serious pregnancy complication that can threaten the lives of both mother and baby if not detected early.
On this World Preeclampsia Day, themed โKnow HER Symptoms. Take Action,โ we at HerAid are raising awareness on the warning signs of preeclampsia in pregnancy.
Remember HER:
H โ Hypertension
E โ Edema
R โ Right upper abdominal pain
Early detection and intervention saves lives!
Today at Ita-Elewa PHC, Ikorodu, Lagos we plan to educate and re-educate women on preeclampsia.
Our guiding principle for this World Preeclampsia Day remains: *"Know HER Symptoms. Take Action."*
To see how it goes, stay tuned.
