@SenSherrodBrown, ask your colleagues if they would be willing to try to survive off SSI requirements for 1 month or 1 year. My guess is none of them could actually do it.

I challenge any member of Congress to try to live off of $794/month ($9,528/year) with only $2-3,000 in assets beyond your personal residence & a personal car. You can’t and you know it but you expect 8 million disabled people to try to do that on SSI?! #DemolishDisabledPoverty
