He didn’t believe he was in danger, he asked the man if he was going to “chimp out”, which is provocative. You can’t pull your gun out over a verbal argument. Words aren’t danger.

Chud said provocative words before, initiating the confrontation. He also said them during, asking the man if he was going to “chimp out”. Provocation. Not self defense.
