The quandary observed by actor Ryan Reynolds, and author Dr George Ackerman were real for their parents.

As a victim of PD, and a parent, I can tell my story with a different slant.

I have used podcasts to timestamp and provide transparency to make better decisions, when facts are important!

Circumstances, finances, and timing are crucial.

What planning have you given to longterm care?

Many times, basic needs can still be covered by Medicare and Medicaid in rehab and nursing homes. Less financial risks, less time to be around, and a burden.

But many, such as Reynolds and Ackerman later in life, have regrets. I get that with care for my brother and parents, while seeking a career and raising a child with disabilities. So not being judgmental, just laying out the case, mainly with sound mind and attempting to be productive in their remaining years of life!

It’s not just the work pressure, there’s a lot of social pressure to be involved and recreate with children and friends.
