@CityPowerJhb Why did the contractor who supposedly repaired the fault at 7.55am yesterday not test the system once power was restored at 6.30pm? Once again, we have lost the entire contents of our fridges due to false promises made.

@CityPowerJhb @VEzulike CPWEB4811890 Raumaraispark still without power since 4.30am on Thursday. This is the third long outage in two weeks. Had to replace gate, electric fence and inverter batteries, not to mention food having to be discarded. City Power is leaving people in the poor house.

Just finished reading Malcolm Ray's The Tyranny of Growth. It's a real page-turner, filled with fascinating characters who've been key in directing international economic policy, while still reading more as history than economics. It's fascinating and informative.
