One year ago, the world was forever changed. October 7th, once just another day on the calendar is now forever marked as a reminder of one of the darkest days for the Jewish people. More than 1,200 brothers and sisters were brutally murdered, 251 innocent people were violently kidnapped, with 101 still held hostage by Hamas. Today thousands of Israelis remain displaced as the battle for our homeland and our freedom from terror continues.

To remember the Lubavitcher Rebbe on his 30th yahrzeit today (3 Tammuz) I share some photos from 35 years ago of a few of the times I was privileged to meet Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson OBM. I still have the dollar in my wallet! Plus a letter the Rebbe sent when I was born!
