Michael - "The Misunderstood"

In a very deep emotional level, gets ko si Michael.

Yung lumaki kang you kind of understand a lot of things, then you excel academically and physically, pero one thing alludes you - social cues and interactions.

It's a never ending torment of someone who is neuro diverse.

On paper, Michael understands what he needs to do to socialize but he needs social information (let's call it "data"). To get social information, he forces himself in situations and leads to problems

Problem (1)
He tends to overachieve and inserts himself in everything. Why? To get more data... for him to understand the situation in a full picture.

Ang kulang kasi kay Michael, he might be missing social cues (tiny body language, small changes in a HM's reactions that indicate annoyance, na to some seem natural to see)

Why does he need more data?
So he knows what to do.

Hindi siya makagalaw ng maayos kasi he wants to be informed completely before making any social moves. The need to know everything is frustrating for a neurodiverse, and it manifests via their intrusion or "demand to be included"

Problem (2)
He tends to overshare.

But like someone with his mental acuity, he knows to get information, you need to give some.

You need to share information. Thus, it manifests in gossiping or unwarranted opinion sharing

Problem (3)
The Never Ending Cycle

Of course, Michael wants to do things right but he can't do anything unless he has enough data to move forward.

But by doing so, he places himself in positions na intrunsive siya, feeling centre, and most importantly, feeling bida - however, are those really his intentions?

Cause imagine you do all of these "annoying things" to others because those are the only things you know that you can do will to gain information about the housemates. But by doing so, it alienates you, it risks you being an outcast.

And once it happens, you torment yourself on the idea - ano ba ginawa kong mali? Anong mali sa information ko? But to get answers, you need to do these annoying things again.

He is stuck in a hard place.
