@arivalayam Organisation Secretary R.S.Bharathi has complained to the Election Commission seeking the cancellation of @TVKPartyHQ Star Campaigners list for the Madhurantakam and Dharapuram by-election.

He alleged that leaders from other parties have been included in the list, which he claims violates Section 77 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, and the Model Code of Conduct.

A 20 years old Anna University student, (hostel inmate) came to KCSSH, Guindy on 17.09.2026 with 4 days of high-grade fever. Referred to KMC, Kilpauk, same day. Despite care, he died on 18.09.2026. Diagnosis: scrub typhus. No dengue diagnosis. It's a sngle reported case.

Anna University student Harish Kumar was reported to have died due to dengue. However, the hospital has clarified that he didn't have dengue and died due to scrub typhus fever.

The current #DMK government has announced the Kumbabishekam for the #Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple. Interestingly, there has been a pattern since 1963, whenever a ruling government both announces and conducts the temple's Kumbabishekam, it has not returned to power in the subsequent election. Kumbabishekams were held in 1963, 1974, 1995, and 2009, and in each case, the government that organized the ceremony lost the next election. More notably, in those subsequent elections, the ruling party also failed to cross 51 seats in the Assembly. As someone from Madurai, I've been following this pattern closely, though the exact reason behind it remains unclear.
