@itsTomThijs@Eurostar@Eurostar Can I suggest that a message including a rationale is communicated when a claim is denied at the end of the ‘make a claim’ journey? I think this will help the overall UX and more importantly, time on both sides.
@itsTomThijs@Eurostar …several times on our train stated that we could/should make a claim. Obvs, rules are rules and I respect that. I also believe that the announcements made re compensation on the train was an honest mistake. It’s still disappointing that I’ve wasted a lot of time to chase this.
@itsTomThijs@Eurostar I got a response via email/contact form yesterday. They confirmed that the train was delayed for 56mins. This means that our train doesn’t qualify for a compensation - it has to be delayed at a minimum of 60mins. It’s disappointing considering the message that was delivered…

@Eurostar I have a 2 month window to make a claim. I have done everything I can at my end. What else can I do apart from waiting for your response? If I miss the window, what happens then?
