It's also not yet clear to me how much influence the Musk Twitter really had in the US election. For many reasons (incl ego) he wants that influence to be big but I think we need more info on how and why voters decided before we can confirm that conclusion.
I also think in worrying about the real world political implications of the exodus we need to remember degree to wch Twitter reflects voters varies hugely - the Musk version did reflect a majority in the US election, it was far from that in the UK election.
