A new wall being built to close off the staircase from the main space at Ramsgate Works. As well as providing a barrier from the entrance, it be used as a projection wall on evenings and weekends for meetings and events.

Building work has been continuing at the Old Wine Warehouse over the last few weeks. Here are some photos of the staircase and first floor which will be our coworking studio Ramsgate Works. You can see the walls of the two acoustic meeting pods and the kitchenette wall frame.

The £600,000 project is funded through a combination of grants and loans from Kent County Council (@Kent_cc), Kent Community Foundation (@KentCommunity) and the Architectural Heritage Fund (@ArchHFund).

Two big announcements today!

1) Ramsgate Works

We’re delighted to unveil a new name (Ramsgate Works) and branding by Ramsgate-based Myles Lucas Studio for our new coworking studio at the Old Wine Warehouse!

Works include removing existing fittings, dividing the space into three units, upgrading fire safety, removing one of the staircases, and installing new bathrooms, electrics, plumbing, ventilation and a new heating system using air source heat pumps and electric radiators.
