Hi, I’m Nurse Cynthia 👩🏽⚕️💛
Sore, heavy, or sensitive breasts in early pregnancy? This is very common in the first trimester as hormones and blood flow increase to prepare your body for breastfeeding 🤱🏽. A supportive bra can help ease the discomfort.
Go to the hospital if you notice severe pain, redness, swelling, a hard lump, or unusual nipple discharge. Your body is adjusting beautifully for your baby 💕

Feeling like vomiting since you got pregnant? You’re not alone 🤍
Morning sickness is common in early pregnancy and it’s a sign your body is working hard to grow your baby 🤰🏽✨
Small meals, plenty of fluids, and rest can help.
But if vomiting is too much or you feel weak or dizzy, please visit the hospital.
Register early for antenatal care — we’re here for you and your baby 🫶🏽
“Why am I so tired?” 🤰🏽
It’s the #1 question in the first 12 weeks. Hormones and placenta formation are using up your energy to grow your baby.
See the hospital immediately if tiredness comes with dizziness, severe pain, or heavy bleeding.
Early antenatal care (8–12 weeks) is key. Have you booked yet? 🩺
Your body is working overtime, even if your tummy is still small 🤍
The first trimester comes with tired days, strange cravings, mood swings—and that’s normal.
You’re not alone on this journey 💛
Follow along as we break pregnancy down month by month.

Born in Azraq Camp, 7-year-old Aisha has only known life in exile.
With her brothers and her cat Soso, she still dreams big:
“I’ll be a doctor and treat everyone — even Soso.”
Every child deserves safety, dignity and a future.
It takes Zahra two hours to travel to a health centre in White Nile State, Sudan, but she does it for her baby.
“I came here for her nine months vaccination,” Zahra says while holding little Amina.
Centres like these - supported by UNICEF and partners - provide critical health services, including immunization, nutrition screening and malnutrition care and treatment. It also provides care for pregnant and lactating women benefiting hundreds of refugee and host communities in White Nile state.
"This centre has made things much easier for us,” Zahra shares.
Children in Sudan need peace and access to life-saving aid for their futures.
