Lost in last night’s hysteria: Sixers did really good work after opening up the non-taxpayer’s mid-level exception. It wasn’t going to be easy to find a better pair than Quentin Grimes and Kelly Oubre Jr. with $15 million. I think getting Dean Wade and Anfernee Simons qualifies.

@jayhaykid I think they’re already starting to lose given Bruce Meyer’s response about generations of players fighting against the cap. That’s not going to appeal to the common fan who just sees millionaires complaining about not getting enough millions (right or wrong, as you said).
