No student is a “burden” in my classroom. Teaching all students makes their lives better and society better. Education for all is always the answer for a prosperous country or state. #EducationForAll
@ValeriaBrownEdu Smaller class sizes make a huge difference! If I could choose one thing, that would be it, especially when all 20+ students in class are ALL in trauma because of the pandemic. They need extra attention now more than ever.
I would treat "test writing" as a separate genre, and I would only teach it right before the test. The rest of the year is "real world" writing. If kids write well, they will do fine on the tests. They will not write well if they only do test prep writing.
In #googleClassroom You can make an announcement on the Stream and then use the 3 dots to copy the link to the announcement and then make a MATERIALS within the Classwork page and link to the announcement to make sure students can find it. #googleEDU
I’m going have to bring my kindle to read out here one of these days! I hope everyone is having a nice relaxing weekend!
Are you reading something good this weekend? I’m reading The Paper Magician by Charlie Holmberg. #LakeRayHubbard#OutdoorAdventure#kayaking
We got a new puppy!
She is named after Minervae Belisama, the Gaulish goddess of rivers and lakes. We call her Bela. We name all our dogs after mythological beings.
