.@BorisJohnson As the UK prepares to host #COP26, why are you allowing new oil & gas projects to go ahead? I want my government to take action to halt the climate emergency, not fuel it. #BorisStopCambo
@scullyp@NatWestBusiness Read the room @scullyp - you can’t gaslight an entire nation. Do your job and support the entrepreneurs who’ve been left behind. My teenage daughters are watching and learning that entrepreneurial women (like me)are still, in the 21st century, treated like second class citizens!
@scullyp@NatWestBusiness What absolute tosh! A vast majority of female entrepreneurs make up the #ExcludedUK and #ForgottenLtd communities. Abandoned by this so called “Government for small business”. It’s all lies! @RishiSunak and @BorisJohnson continually refuse to acknowledge our existence!
@scullyp@NatWestBusiness Mr Scully, please can you tell us how you are backing entrepreneurs while also excluding them from meaningful support for a full 12 months?
Asking for 3.8 million friends.
#ForgottenLtd#GapsInSupport
@scullyp@NatWestBusiness@scullyp This is simply not true. I and millions of other small businesses have been left of the the govt. support schemes. Many have, and will continue to fail because of it. You are not a "Government for small business", you are proving this time and again #ForgottenLtd
Matt Hancock says ‘we never had a shortage of PPE’ on Sky.
It’s insulting to all the frontline staff who didn’t have the right masks or who were given inferior gowns. They were put at unnecessary risk.
This afternoon I spoke in a House of Commons debate about the #gapsinsupport for the 3 million excluded during this pandemic.
The Chancellor must address this in his Budget next week.
@ExcludedUK
@TIME@billyperrigo Perhaps you could explain how you have among your 2021 Time100 a Chancellor who excluded 10% of the country's workforce from all support during a pandemic, driving many to poverty, homelessness and suicide, yet you've omitted Captain Tom Moore? #ExcludedUK
🕳️ Freelancers, particular groups of self-employed people, limited company directors and the newly self-employed have all missed out on vital financial support.
💷 The Chancellor has had 11 months to fix these gaps. He's been offered solutions, and he must now put this right.
After all these years of working my nuts off, paying tax on time, collecting VAT for them etc etc how can @RishiSunak and the Govt actually think it’s acceptable to live on nothing for nearly 12 months? It’s obscene @ForgottenLtd@ExcludedUK@AndyBurnhamGM@MetroMayorSteve
"Most days are filled with tears and anger." The agony continues for members of #ExcludedUK as the Chancellor fails to engage with evidence that further action is needed to support three million taxpayers. My new comment piece. Coming soon. @yorkshirepost
@ForgottenLtd@RishiSunak@mrjamesob@BenJBurman How on earth can this be fair!
Gary and millions more have been left behind & Rishi Sunak does not care.
He states that ‘we are all in this together’- is Rishi wondering where the next meal is coming from?
It makes me more determined that this is a fight that has to continue
'We were at the top of the stairs, sobbing our hearts out.'
Gary is a struggling #ForgottenLtd. He and 1000s of small ltd co directors are being ignored by @RishiSunak, going under by the hour, taking jobs with them. Where's the sense in that?
@mrjamesob@BenJBurman#DISS
Great article from @cjcwhitlock in the Express on that letter. Rishi Sunak 'refuses to recognise SEISS problems' - 60 MPs claim Chancellor has 'failed' https://t.co/Dci35Ynqt5 @ForgottenLtd
.@RishiSunak must accept there are problematic gaps in the schemes, & make support for excluded groups focus of his budget. It’s a scandal that after 10 months so many are still falling through the gaps. @CarolineLucas @SirGrahamBrady #ForgottenLtd#DISS https://t.co/ouTYaRJlFq
