Voltaire naye alikua mchokozi. Page two of Candide and he has already strawmanned Leibniz philosophies of sufficient reasons and best of all possible worlds 😂
that's why he only stays for 3 seasons per club: the thesis, the antithesis, and the synthesis. barca is playing against the world spirit now, they should turn mourinho on his head and show how the the history of all hitherto existing football is the history of class struggle
There's still time for reform. There's a large population, it's centrally located in the country and can hold agricultural industries due to the vast hinterland of horticultural/livestock products available.
Iran after having entire schools blown up, leader killed, etc.: Signs MoU and declares victory.
Yemen after having its air space breached by a drone: Complete destruction of infrastructure the largest oil supplier in the world, promising to do even more if they don't stop.
I was listening to Dr. Roy Casangranda talk about the great library of Alexandria and you almost feel angry with this obsession by some westerners to burn/destroy books. Todate you see holy land larpers burning books as real palestinians rebuild libraries under a genocide
🦔AI companies are bulk-buying rare books, scanning them through high-speed machines that cut the spines off, and shredding the originals. A service called ISBNdb facilitates orders of up to a million books and keeps buyers anonymous. Pre-2022 books are premium because they're free of AI-generated text. A federal judge ruled the practice is fair use because eliminating the original means only one copy exists at a time. Anthropic hired the former head of Google Books partnerships to obtain "all the books in the world."
My Take
This got to me. A bookseller told 404 Media that rare books with almost no surviving copies are being fed into this pipeline. Books that survived wars, fires, and centuries of handling are being shredded so an AI can learn to write a better marketing email.
ISBNdb's website literally says "'AI company destroys two million books' is not a headline that generates sympathy," and they still built an entire business around making it happen quietly. They offer NDAs as a feature. They coach clients to call it "digital preservation."
I've covered AI companies scraping the internet, torrenting libraries, and stealing music. This is worse because it's irreversible. You can re-upload a website. You can reprint a bestseller. You can't replace the last three copies of an 18th-century botanical text once someone shreds them for training data. And the judge said it's legal. So it's going to accelerate.
"We shred rare books and offer NDAs so nobody finds out" is a legitimate business model in 2026. What a timeline.

Jamaa za kutunnel hazielewi geopolitical temp saai. This is not the time to get entangled with foreign armies unless you are going all in. US walituchanganya apo wakaingia laikipia airbase under disguise ya ebola but all evidence to the contrary. The less batuks around the better
@thuo_waithera I think you are the one that fits that description because I asked for evidence and you haven't provided any but went straight to ad hominem
If you say Nanyuki needs batuk to stay afloat you need to provide good evidence on how Nanyuki differ from other towns with the same population of around 100k ata isiolo. Close it down because you won't find any big differences other than wildfires and sex crimes & racism
I seriously cannot believe that people are saying Nanyuki needs the British Army for the town to survive. They’re excusing their atrocities which include rape and murder in the name of the town thriving. Why tf does your survival depend on a foreign army??
