They very obviously made this decision because instead of saying "If you do x then y will happen" they made it a 5050 chance, meaning the choice was up to Cyrene to choose, and she chose to stay behind, thats her ego.

Elysia was an anomaly that shouldn't have existed, I drew parallels with this idea and I think it makes sense now... Cyrene is "other" feeling because she is, she's not truly from Amphoreus, not OUR Cyrene anyways. The Cyrene of the first cycles is smolrene I believe.

The implication that Cyrene is a forgotten member of the AE makes this so ridiculously heart wrenching.

I think it's possible she went to Amphoreus in order to stop IronTomb and save the universe, even if that meant 33 million cycles without her dearest friends.
