happiness has no shortcuts. sometimes it’s a road that takes time to navigate through, a path with never ending obstacles, a route full of stop signs along the way, but when it finally reaches you, know that it was meant to find you. embrace the waves of goodness coming your way.
the need to constantly be in the know is unhealthy and ultimately leads to unhappiness. there is something freeing about remaining rooted in your soil and focusing on you. you gain nothing by monitoring their bloom when there are flowers in your own garden that need tending to.
If I was giving advice to my younger self, I would say, stop giving too many chances to people who don't deserve it. Save your energy so you can be fully present for the ones that do.
