What has the #CottonCatastrophe of 12 years in Congress gotten Arkansas?
Tom Cotton is richer, with book deals and a Virginia mansion.
Arkansans, meanwhile, are losing the family farm, paying out the ass for gasoline & food, and healthcare & immigration are as broken as ever.
This isn’t business as usual.
When I say we’re flipping the table, I mean we are done with the zero-sum game where politicians get richer from stock trades, book deals, cable news appearances, and corporate PAC money while our farms close, our hospitals disappear, and our families fall further behind.
We aren’t playing by D.C.’s rules. Not the Democrats’. Not the Republicans’. Arkansans will be in charge, because what doesn’t work for Arkansas doesn’t work for me.
This campaign is different because it belongs to the people.
We’ve tried it the other way. It didn’t work. So we are going to do it differently. This is our time now.
Illinois is now fifth in the nation for public education, that’s a 12-spot jump in just one year.
When you treat teachers well, invest in students, and focus on improving schools, you get real results.
Hebrews tells us that faith is having conviction in what we cannot see.
It’s easy to see the challenges facing Arkansas. It’s harder to see the possibility, but I do. I will fight everyday to make Arkansas one of the healthiest and most prosperous states in the country.
Send me to the U.S. Senate on behalf of Arkansas.
Let’s vote and believe in what Arkansas could be.
Early Voting: Feb 17th
Primary Election Day: Mar 3rd
Alex Pretti was a Minneapolis ICU nurse who spent his days caring for and saving others. Today, he was shot and killed by a Border Patrol Agent. Alex’s life was extinguished by state violence. We must tell the truth about what is happening.
My father warned us, “When evil men plot, good men must plan. When evil men burn and bomb, good men must build and bind.”
What we are witnessing now (masked raids, people taken without due process, vigilante, Gestapo, and slave patrol-like tactics normalized under the color of law) is a moral crisis.
Nonviolence demands more than outrage; it demands action.
Congress must dismantle ICE; enact just, humane immigration policies; and ensure implementation of the policies by people who honor the humanity of Black and Brown immigrants, respect those raising their voices in support of immigrants, and seek the safety of community.
The blood of those who are being kidnapped and unjustly killed by agents with impunity is not only on the hands of those who pull the trigger, but on every lawmaker and every court that has the power to intervene and chooses silence.
Creating the Beloved Community requires truth, accountability, and the courage to act before more lives are lost.

Holiness must blossom precisely where decisions are made that affect the lives of thousands of families. The world needs entrepreneurs and leaders who, out of love for God and neighbor, work for an economy that serves the common good. It is possible to be both an entrepreneur and a saint—economic efficiency and fidelity to the Gospel are not mutually exclusive—and charity can penetrate even industrial and financial structures.

@RepFrenchHill@HouseGOP@jessicadean@CNN No one wins under the current regimes economic and other policies. The do nothing republicans have vacated their role in governing allowing an unhinged demagogue out of touch with truth or reality to run roughshod on our democracy. While your constituents suffer congressman Hill!
At a school as wealthy as the University of Arkansas, … no employee should be forced to depend on SNAP benefits, student loans or the generosity of a loved one to survive.
