@TimothyPShea@cultofpedagogy I will use affinity mapping in my teaching because I like how it allows everyone to be involved and allows students to share their answer in an easy, anonymous way (which is great for those students who are not as socially interactive).
@TimothyPShea So many takeaways from this article. The biggest one for me being that an emphasis on grades puts more pressure on teachers and students and when being told they will be graded, the students tend to lose focus on the actual act of learning and focus on getting a grade instead.
@TimothyPShea We should teach social studies because it teaches us how to be better humans. We can learn from the events that has happened in history and decide if we want to repeat it or change it to become better. #lbcss
