Jesus was not always “positive” or “nice.” He expressed every human emotion. His righteous anger flipped tables and condemned religious leaders, calling them a ‘brood of vipers.’ He was described as a “man of sorrows.” He wept, experienced sadness and was grieved about the brokenness of this evil world. He warned us not to be deceived, about wolves in sheep’s clothing and about the torments of hell. The picture of Jesus you were taught all your life of an always compassionate and loving Savior is truth, but that is not all of who he was and is. He will be coming with eyes like a blazing fire and a sharp, two edged sword coming out of his mouth instead of a cross this time. He is the one true God, and Justice he will serve. Every single knee will bow. Evil cannot escape what is to come.
When the Holy Spirit warns you about someone or certain people, you better listen.
He not only knows them inside out, but He also knows what their tomorrow looks like.
- Michael Miller
