Many ed leaders are obsessed with the appearance of learning...but do not seek to understand what real learning looks and sounds like.

How many ed leaders would observe kids solving this type of puzzle and come out thinking that learning is taking place?

Education systems/leaders in many places have become so obsessed with kids looking engaged, doing stuff, and having fun that actual learning has been sacrificed.

The ed system fails both students and teachers, but in the end, it is always the most vulnerable of kids who will bear the price, day after day, grade after grade, and year after year.
