For those at the back… it’s not just SATH. Corridor care is endemic throughout the NHS and most EDs struggle with space to give their patients dignity. 48hrs in a chair/ waiting room is not isolated either.
This is very much on the government and choices made by hospital execs.

My reflections on healthcare this bank holiday weekend are pretty bleak… every team/ speciality is overwhelmed, there is no redundancy in the system and most of us are relying on luck to avoid disasters. This really isn’t sustainable into winter.
