Mobile dev + UX nerd | BTech Dropout #Founder | Grinding to scale my apps past $22 MRRπ₯πͺ | 2 Mobile Apps - 1 android Game | Follow along scaling to $10k MRR
I've completed #100DaysOfCode, minimum 2 hrs/day! 3 months ago,I was a total beginner with only basic Java knowledge. Now, I'm feeling confident, but I know I still have a long way to go. Thanks to everyone who's supported me along the way. Your encouragement means the world!ππ
I have 5 days free trial in this app &
User used app all 4 days (source: posthog)
At the last day he cancelled!!!

Day 204 / banned and rejected
-> new social accounts banned in a 1 hour
-> new reddit account instantly suspended
-> vpns are trash and do nothing but trigger automated security bans
to cap it off, apple rejected the other app build yet again. never using a vpn for again.π€¬π’

Day 202 / rejected the app again
-> same ipad edg case with the share button
-> got tired of fighting it, so i completely deleted the share button and pushed to review
started refactoring the ios structural architecture for the 4th app right after
everything is currently broken
Day 201 / My app finally indexed
but doesn't show up anywhere in its niche category yet.
getting an app to survive on ios is a completely different game.
whatβs the most specific edge case apple has ever caught you on?
-> app froze right after onboarding
-> apple's qa team somehow found the literal only edge case in the code
-> play store didn't even bother to check,
but apple breaks it immediately

day 201 / indexed but invisible.
the new app doesn't show up anywhere in its niche category yet.
spent the day aggressively texting friends begging for 5-star reviews to wake up the app store algorithm.
to make things better, my other app got rejected
dropped out from BTech in tier 2 college.
Reached -> $22 MRR -> after android 15% cut $200 revenue -> launched on iOS today -> goal $1000 revenue next month
What you think I'm i overestimating ????
Apple review team definitely has a personal vendetta against me.
Launch a new version?
-> ghosted by search index.
try to test notifications?
-> blocked by a single typo in a certificate.
i am fighting for my life in these apple trenches man ππ

Day 200 / invisible on the store
hit the live button 24 hrs ago.
app store still hasn't indexed.
he rest of the day was pure chaos:
-> added a rating screen to onboarding
-> fought off a policy rejection for the other app
-> spent the whole day debugging ios notifications

10% coding, 90% fighting typos in apple certificates.
after an entire day of pure chaos and debugging ios notifications, the test finally hit the lock screen ππ
the dopamine is back. back to the grind π
